Of 22 students taking the test, 1 student achieved a perfect score and 1 student missed only one. Twenty-one students passed with an adjusted score of 11 points. The modal average was a score of 16.
Thank you for your inquiry. The tests will be sent home on Monday. Apologies for the suspense; the tests were corrected after the students left. It should also be mentioned that the Science lesson was postponed due to the test taking longer for some to take than expected. And just a note: Comments which include a child's name will be deleted from this forum.
My child ended up with a score of 12 out of 20. When I looked closely at the correct and incorrect answers it really should have been10 out of 20. I'm having trouble understanding how well my child did. Can you please explain what an "adjusted score" and a "modal average" is.
Tomorrow afternoon would be perfect. Most afternoons (except Tuesdays) are ok. My schedule will change somewhat if I start tutoring in the Learning Center after school.

ReplyDeleteIf the suspense is too much to handle, the computer will be on for the next little while.
DeleteSame question here. I'm on the edge of my seat.

ReplyDeleteThank you. But aren't the kids off on Monday? So, I guess we will be waiting patiently until Tuesday.

ReplyDeleteAn email is fine, but really everything turned out fine with the test. Very pleasing results.

ReplyDeleteMr. Colson, I think you'll have to bring the test in for a conference.
DeleteYes, I would like to do this. What times do you have open, Mr. B.?
